Welcome to the world of Scotty’s Art!

The VisUal Creative Generalist

From pencils and markers to acrylics and bold design, my art journey has been anything but ordinary. Growing up in the South, bouncing between cities, and even deploying overseas as a Machinist Mate in the U.S. Navy shaped my creative vision in ways I never expected. Art has always been my escape, a safe space to explore, question, and create.

For most of my life, it was simple tools—pencils and markers—that carried me through life’s storms. Despite a slight color deficiency, I’ve developed a knack for bold, exotic colorways and sharp, crisp linework that reflect my unique perspective. It wasn’t always easy standing out as the “art kid,” but embracing my individuality gave me the courage to chase my passion.

These days, I channel that love for creativity into everything from acrylic paintings to custom clothing, shoes, and canvases. My work often dives into sci-fi-inspired concepts, blending imagination and emotion to tell a story or capture a moment of inspiration.

I’m constantly learning, experimenting, and pushing myself to elevate my art. Whether you’re here to admire, critique, or collaborate, I appreciate your time and curiosity. Keep an eye out—there’s so much more to come.

Thanks for visiting, and welcome to the journey!

“Bee Yurrself”

**Bee YurrSelf** is more than just a phrase—it's a reminder to embrace who you are, inside and out. In a world full of noise, it’s easy to lose sight of your true self, trying to fit into expectations or please everyone around you. But the real magic happens when you *bee* your authentic self, unapologetically and with pride. Every day is an opportunity to just *bee* the best version of *you*—no one else can do that job.

Lately, I’ve been noticing bees buzzing around at the most unexpected times, and I couldn’t help but feel that there was a deeper message. As I researched their symbolism, I discovered something powerful: Bees often appear when life feels a bit out of focus. They show up when you’re at a crossroads, or when the things that matter most to *you* start to blur. The bee reminds us to refocus on what truly counts, and to stay grounded in our purpose.

I incorporate bees into my art as a constant reminder of this message: to stay true to who we are, to work hard with purpose, and to embrace the beauty of individuality. Just like bees work together to create something greater, we too can contribute to the world in our own unique way—by simply *being* ourselves.
