Growing up in the South, bouncing between cities, and even deploying overseas as a Machinist Mate in the U.S. Navy shaped my creative vision in ways I never expected. Art has always been my escape, a safe space to explore, question, and create.
For most of my life, it was simple tools—pencils and markers—that carried me through life’s storms. Despite a slight color deficiency, I’ve developed a knack for bold, exotic colorways and sharp, crisp linework that reflect my unique perspective. It wasn’t always easy standing out as the “art kid,” but embracing my individuality gave me the courage to chase my passion.
These days, I channel that love for creativity into everything from acrylic paintings to custom clothing, shoes, and canvases. My work often dives into sci-fi-inspired concepts, blending imagination and emotion to tell a story or capture a moment of inspiration.

The phrase "Scotty Did That" is a signature for all the different creative projects I dive into. Whether it’s a mural, custom sneakers, or a painting, it’s a way of marking each venture with my personal touch. More than just a tagline, it represents my versatility as an artist and the unique approach I bring to everything I create—always evolving, always exploring new ways to express myself.
The logo features a spaceship blasting off in the shape of the letter "S," symbolizing my art alias, "Scotty Slim." It’s a playful nod to the iconic phrase "Beam me up, Scotty!" and reflects my embrace of individuality. Just like the spaceship soaring off into its own space, the design represents my desire to break free from societal norms and stay true to myself. It’s a visual statement of originality and creative freedom, capturing my unique approach to art and self-expression.
